Icaros is a fast paced 3D shoot 'em up with simple controls and rapid action. Jump in to the middle of dark future where gigantic mechas have replaced traditional artillery. Fight your way through the city of Neo Babylon and find out what lurks in the UAN's secret military base.
Icaros was our first academic 5-week game project in Pelitalo Outokumpu which was made in collaboration with Playground Squad, Sweden. I worked as a lead game designer. I wrote the design document and worked with one associate designer ensuring that the intended vision of the game was realized.
For most of us, this was the very first game we worked on, and needless to say, we were having a blast. |
