I'm studying video game development in a vocational institute in Outokumpu, currently on my second year.

Why did I choose this field of study?
I've been playing video games since I was a kid and I still haven't stopped, only platforms have changed over time. Eventually I became interested in how games are made, too. I did realize that making them wouldn't be as easy as playing them, but despite that I figured that this might be the thing for me. Then I heard about this school and I just had to get in. I still have much to learn, but I haven't regretted my choice so far. My favorite areas are probably modelling and texturing.

What kind of games have I played myself?
Personally I mostly fancy so-called RPGs, but I may enjoy other genres as well. Few examples: Final Fantasy series, Jak & Daxter trilogy, World of Warcraft.

Other primary interests:
Roleplaying, anime and manga, reading books.(Also Tae Kwon Do, but it's not teached here in Outokumpu.)
